What better place could one call home than Mt. Pleasant, Michigan? It is commonly known that it takes a village to raise a family, and this is the driving force behind my passion for real estate.

When you are looking for the perfect place to raise your family, the first step is appreciating what type of community you are joining. Central Michigan is rich in culture, arts, beautiful parks, lakes (and river), countryside, with a quant downtown, and even a growing uptown! My family most treasures their long history of agricultural traditions. This is what has kept, and what will keep my family here in Mt. Pleasant for generations to come. Our crop farm has harvested three generations of the Ervin family. These agricultural roots have not only ingrained a deep connection with the industry, but also provides my family the skills needed to contribute to the community in which they live in.

My husband Ryan and I live in Mt. Pleasant with our 4 beautiful children. It is through the development and contributions to his family’s farm that have sparked an interest in me to develop my real estate business. Understanding the needs of not only the land, but also the value of what a home brings to my family is what gives me empathy to learn what is most important to you as a client.

My children range from age 20 down to 2 years old. Our oldest is a graduate of Mt. Pleasant Public Schools, and now serves in the United States Navy on nuclear submarines in navigation technology. Our younger children are proud Beal City Aggies. As a family, we have been involved in the Isabella County 4-H community for 15 years. Our children raise horses, pigs, dogs, rabbits, and cats.

My vocation for serving the community has been a calling for me personally, and something that my husband and I feel is important for our children to carry out as our legacy. I have been a member of the Mt. Pleasant Rotary Club for 10 years, serving in many roles such as President Elect, President, Vocational Director, Music Chair, Interact Advisor, host family for Rotary Youth Exchange, and volunteer in all of our community outreach programs and events. In 2017, I received the Mt. Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Eagle Award for vocational service. Over the years I have served as a Chamber Ambassador, board member of the Friends of Isabella Seniors, Co-Chair of the Compassionate Adults Reaching the Elderly, and a volunteer for many outreach organizations throughout Isabella County. We are members of the Rosebush United Methodist Church.

I am originally from Lansing, Michigan, and studied at the University of Windsor. As a professional I have devoted the last 18 years of my career in clinical leadership and sales for skilled home health, hospice, and long term care. Navigating families through the most rewarding and challenging times has been a focus in my career. With the right person by your side, purchasing a home is also one of life’s most memorable milestones.

I began my Real Estate journey at the Hollaway Institute, and shortly thereafter obtained my Michigan Real Estate Salesperson License. I was embraced by Mt. Pleasant’s most respected agency to join the Weichert Team. It was not a difficult decision as my personal and professional values align with Paula’s vision for serving and giving back to the community that supports her business. I am a member of the Central Michigan Association of Realtors, member of the Michigan Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors. I am a graduate of the Rollie Dennison Leadership Institute. Throughout the years I have received sales awards and worked in leadership roles teaching other sales executive the principles of need-based selling.
